MARYLAND Homestead Property Tax Credit

To help homeowners deal with large assessment increases on their principal residence, Maryland law has established the Homestead Property Tax Credit. The Homestead Credit limits the increase in taxable assessments each year to a fixed percentage. Promptly complete and submit your homestead application so that your property can receive the credit in the next tax cycle for which it is eligible.
